Here's what you can expect
- Ensure alternative sourcing: Identification of items and their manufacturers for possible alternative sourcing
- Recognising upstream suppliers: Examination of sample parts and original articles to precisely determine potential upstream suppliers
- Compare articles: Comparison of project or alternative articles with existing articles
- Prepare enquiries: Preparation of requests for quotations to potential suppliers
- Exchange with suppliers: Direct contact to coordinate incoming quotations
- Evaluating quotations: Discussing quotations together with product management
What you need to bring
- Training & Qualification: Completed vocational training, preferably in the technical field, e.g. as a mechatronics technician (m/f/d) or comparable training related to agricultural engineering
- Professional experience & Expertise: Good knowledge of our products and ideally experience with suppliers in the heavy-duty sector
- IT & language skills: Confident handling of common IT applications and business fluent German (C1); knowledge of English is desirable
- Personal skills: Technical understanding and commercial mindset as well as structured work
