In-house Sales Assistant for Commercial Vehicle Spare Parts (m/f/d)

Hofmeister & Meincke has been a reliable partner since 1908 as a Bremen-based trading company and original equipment supplier to commercial vehicle workshops, vehicle manufacturers and industry. Do you have a background in lorry, commercial vehicle or agricultural machinery workshops and fancy finally putting your technical experience to good use in an office setting? Perfect. You might not be working on the vehicles yourself every day anymore, but you know the vehicles, the parts and the typical challenges – that’s exactly what makes you so valuable to us.

Here's what you can expect

Advising customers & selling spare parts: Providing expert advice to our customers and selling spare parts for commercial vehicles and car trailers
Supporting the field sales team: Supporting the field sales team in fulfilling customer requirements
Identifying spare parts: Locating spare parts via electronic media
Processing orders: Complete order processing, including tracking deadlines
Managing quotation processes: Preparing and tracking quotations
Handling complaints: Independently handling incoming complaints
Point of contact for day-to-day business: Close coordination with the field sales team and liaison with relevant departments

What you need to bring

Training & Qualifications: Completed commercial or technical training, e.g. in wholesale and foreign trade, retail, office administration (m/f/d), industrial clerk (m/f/d) or as a motor vehicle/commercial vehicle mechatronics technician (m/f/d)
Professional experience & specialist knowledge: Technical understanding and, ideally, experience with the relevant product groups; basic commercial know-how
IT & Language Skills: Good knowledge of MS Office and Windows applications; good command of German
Personal Skills: Strong customer service focus, enjoyment of advising customers, excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team
