Here's what you can expect
- Responsibility for payroll accounting: Preparation and implementation of timely payroll accounting with SAGE for a defined group of employees, taking into account all tax and social law requirements
- Communication with external bodies: Correspondence with social security and pension insurance providers, employers' liability insurance associations, authorities and health insurance companies
- Digital personnel administration: Creation and maintenance of personnel files and master data in digital form
- Time management at a glance: Recording and management of all relevant data for working time recording in ATOSS
- Salary contact person: Support and advice for employees on all payroll accounting issues
- Reliable documentation: Preparation of reports, certificates and analyses
- Preparing for the audit: Providing all relevant documents for the payroll tax audit
- Support year-end closing: Assistance with wage-related closing work
What you need to bring
- Training & Qualification: Completed commercial vocational training, e.g. as a tax clerk (m/f/d), merchant (m/f/d) in wholesale and foreign trade or industrial clerk (m/f/d) with further training in payroll accounting
- Professional experience & Expertise: Current knowledge of tax, social security and labour law as well as initial professional experience in payroll accounting or payroll accounting, for example as a Payroll Specialist (m/f/d), is desirable
- IT & language skills: Confident use of MS Office products and ideally experience in working with SAGE and ATOSS; business fluent German (C1)
- Personal skills: Strong communication and problem-solving skills, ability to work in a team, flexibility and discretion; structured, independent and careful way of working
