Here's what you can expect
- Developing production operations across all sites: Technical management and further development of production operations at the three sites in close collaboration with the respective on-site managers
- Coaching & supporting managers: Acting as a sparring partner for local production managers on HR, leadership, key performance indicators and business management issues
- Managing production & assembly: Responsibility for customised assembly in special-purpose vehicle construction (e.g. three-way tippers, multifunctional boxes, curtainsiders, aluminium and building materials flatbeds), sideboard assembly, underrun protection and overseeing the installation of load-securing systems for timber transport
- Overseeing mechanical production: Organising production, including sawing and milling aluminium and steel profiles, operating the laser cutting system and sheet metal working
- Coordinate logistics & work planning: Overseeing central logistics, the profile warehouses and the cutting of sheet material, as well as responsibility for work planning and scheduling
- Managing purchasing & procurement: Purchasing external services (e.g. powder coating, anodising, KTL, machining) as well as procuring workshop equipment, vehicles, tools, machinery and warehouse technology
- Further developing quality management: Driving forward internal and external process optimisation, overseeing the suggestion scheme and complaint handling, and supporting the ISO 9001 audit process
- Designing the ERP & system landscape: Acting as a key user for ERP (Oracle and SAP) in production and logistics, as well as for EWM (SAP); providing support with technical and application-related issues; and overseeing system roll-outs
- Co-ordinating health and safety & facility management: Responsibility for health and safety in collaboration with an external service provider, as well as managing buildings, technical systems and maintenance, and drawing up cost and investment plans for production
What you need to bring
- Training & Qualifications: A successfully completed degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Industrial Engineering or a comparable qualification, e.g. as a Business Graduate (m/f/d) or Industrial Foreman (m/f/d) with relevant professional experience
- Professional experience & specialist knowledge: Relevant experience in production management, ideally with cross-site responsibility, as well as experience in process optimisation, for example in the standardisation and decentralisation of production processes or layout changes based on material flow analyses
- IT & Language Skills: In-depth experience as a key user of common ERP systems, in particular Oracle and SAP S/4HANA, as well as knowledge of IT-supported scheduling and planning, and business-fluent German (min. C1)
- Personal skills: Leadership experience combined with assertiveness and decision-making ability, analytical thinking and a structured approach to work. Clear communication skills, a hands-on approach and a sense of responsibility, as well as a team-oriented attitude and openness to change.
