Here's what you can expect
- Take responsibility in the central warehouse: Independently manage a defined sub-area in the central warehouse
- Manage logistics processes: Ensure and coordinate a smooth flow of logistics processes in the area of responsibility
- Identify optimisation potential & realise improvements: Continuous analysis of existing processes as well as implementation of process changes and active collaboration in lean management
- Keeping an eye on productivity: Responsibility for and ensuring the productivity of all operational processes in the relevant sub-area
- Take on leadership & development of the team: Management, further development and motivation of employees
- Compliance with guidelines & regulations: Ensuring compliance with all legal regulations and guidelines
What you need to bring
- Training & qualification: Successfully completed vocational or master craftsman training or completed studies in business administration or industrial engineering, preferably with a focus on logistics
- Professional experience & Expertise: Multiple years of professional and management experience as well as basic knowledge of continuous improvement (CIP) and lean management
- IT & language skills: Experience in dealing with warehouse management systems and the usual MS Office programmes including the evaluation of relevant key figures and business fluent German (at least C1)
- Personal skills: Strong communication skills, entrepreneurial thinking and a pronounced customer and service orientation as well as assertiveness, organisational talent and a systematic way of working
